Ideally, post-surgery care should begin the moment you arrive home from the hospital. A Personal Support Worker (PSW) assists with “Activities of Daily Living” (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal prep during your recovery. A Registered Nurse (RN or RPN) performs clinical tasks like wound debridement, administering injections, and managing complex medications. Many of our Toronto clients choose a “blended” plan where a nurse handles the medical tasks and a PSW provides daily physical support.
